Maria Grandt vinder femdobbelt guld ved Nordiske Mesterskaber

Elitetræner Olaf Wildeboer har samlet de mange indtryk og resultater for os.

Òli var med til VM på kortbane for det færøske landshold. Det gik ham sådan:

Óli at Worlds: 

- Placed 64th in the 200m freestyle improving his PB with 1.51.12

- Placed 46th in the 400m free with 3.52.26

- Placed 31st in the 1500m free with 15.24.57

Maria Grandt og Alvi Hjelm var udtaget til de Nordiske Mesterskaber. Maria for Danmark og Alvi for Færøerne. Maria leverede en fantastisk indsats og vendte hjem med hele otte medaljer, heraf fem af guld. 

Maria at Nordic: 

- Placed 1st in the 200m free improving her PB and club record with 1.57.56 (previous record herself with 1.58.87)

- Placed 1st in the 200m IM improving with 2.13.63

- Placed 2nd in the 4x100m Free improving her PB and NKR in the 1st leg with 55.47 (previous record herself with 55.89)

- Placed 2nd in the 100m free improving her PB and NKR with 55.35 (previous record herself the day before with 55.47)

- Placed 1st in the 4x200m Free with a time of 1.59.64

- Placed 1st in the 400m free improving her PB and NKR with 4.11.47 (previous record Mathilde Huss with 4.14.52)

- Placed 3rd in the 4x100m IM swimming the fly leg in a time of 1.01.41

- Placed 1st in the 8x50m Free Mix with a time of 25.48.

Alvi at Nordic:

- Placed 7th in the 200m IM with a time of 2.05.30

- Placed 6th in the 4x100m Free with the Faroese Team with a time of 52.88 in the first leg.

- Placed 6th in the 400m IM with a time of 4.28.07

- Placed 6th in the 4x100m IM with a time of 53.60 in the freestyle leg.

- Placed 6th in the 8x50m Free Mix with a time of 24.73.

Resten af Førsteholdet deltog ved Skotske Mesterskaber i Edinburgh. Deltagelsen var en en forberedelse til den kommende weekends DM for hold. 

Rest of the Team in Edinburgh:

Good performance of our swimmers with 17 PB's, lot's of races really close to their PB's and a total of 8 finals which gives the team confidence for a good performance at DM-H.

Honorable mentions goes to:

- Giano Grillo who broke the Klub Record in the 50m Fly with 25.18 (previous record Morten Børre in 25.61).

- The 4x50m Free Junior Team (Frederik Lentz, Andreas Vestergaard, Linus Weiss & Mathias Vestergaard) who broke the Junior Klub Record with a time of 1.36.53 (pervious record 1.38.97)
